Harvest Year

This is an orchestral piece in Chinese style. Fengnian means a year of good harvest. It is a short symphony, takes advantage of the Chinese pentatonic tuning combined with western instruments. The work depicts the joy of farmers who have worked hard all year to meet the great harvest of the coming year. This piece is very cheerful and symbolizes how happy the Chinese people are when they have a harvest year. 

This is a new piece that has not been performed in public yet, so there’s no recording file.
