Fahrradsuppe is a piece for solo bicycle in the end of 2022. The title is in German which means bicycle soup, because only Deutsch can glue any words you want together, and there is no more appropriate name for this piece other than bicycle plus soup.

The music composition type of this work fits into ‘Musique Concrète’. This work makes unorthodox use of bicycle, for example, scraping the wheels with a spoon, hitting the chainstay protector with a hard metal chain, etc. With modulation afterward, bicycle is given various pitches and timbres. Various synthesizers are used in this piece(GRM Tools, Cecilia etc.), in order to make timbral fusion (accounted for an abstract sense of sound itself, different from nominal pitch, beat, or melody) and transformation. 

The piece had been performed in International Computer Music Conference which was hold in the Chinese University of Hong Kong, 2023. It also won an award at the electroacoustic music competition in Music Acoustica-HangZhou (EMAC), China, 2023. Performed at the Sound Junction Concert, Sheffield, UK in 2023

However this bike was stolen on the streets of London last year and this is its legacy.
